Sharon was born Aug. 1, 1949, in Oklahoma City. She is the daughter of Ruth Ann Daughtery. Sharon married Larry Briscoe Jan. 3, 1969, in Memphis, Tenn. She held an occupation in the journalism field.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Briscoe of West Tawakoni, Texas; daughter, Stacie Poland of Royse City, Texas; sisters, Belinda Barton of Spokane, Wash., Jami Pierson of Bartlesville and Barbara Woodruff of Arlington, Texas; grandson, Preston Poland of Royse City, Texas, and a granddaughter, Emily Poland of Royse City.
Funeral services were held today at Coker-Mathews Chapel with the Rev. Ron Salfen officiating. The burial was held today at Hess Cemetery in Elmer.
