Zachary J. Cook Day has been proclaimed by Altus City Mayor David Webb. Zachary Cook’s life is being celebrated on Saturday, July 14, with a memorial Fun Run / Walk to be held at the City Reservoir. Community events and fund raisers will be held to generate shcolarships for graduating Altus High School seniors.
Zachary was an AHS student when he was killed in an airplane crash Nov. 8, 2009. The son of Perry and Christa Cook, Zachary touched the lives of many, including his little sisters, Madison and Macinzee.
Mayor Webb asks that citizens participate in the activities planned in honor of Zachary Cook.
