The Altus Municipal Authority (AMA) and City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Thursday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. These meetings will, in essence, pick up where the Tuesday, July 3 meetings left off. That meeting ended abruptly when the council did not have a quorum to conduct business, including adjournment. Because the AMA meeting had been recessed until after the City Council was to vote, the Council meeting will be held first.
The agenda for this Special Meeting was not available at press time, but at least one item was added to the AMA agenda. That will be an item brought up by Chief of Operations, Bob Stephenson, on the water treatment plant.
