Registrations for City of Altus “Tackle” Football are being accepted at the City Clerk’s office in the City Complex. These registrations will be accepted through Thursday, August 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Don’t forget the City Complex is closed on Fridays. Late sign-ups will only be accepted up until practice starts. Late fee after August 9 will be an additional $10. Once teams form, they will not be able to take any registrations.
The program is offered for children grades 1 through 6. The football program is divided into three divisions. First and second grades (ages eight years and under), third and fourth grades (ages ten and under), and fifth and sixth grades (ages 12 and under).
Registration fees include $20 for the City of Altus participation fee and $40 for Altus Great Plains for league expenses, for a total of $60. A late fee would add another $10 to make $70, if applicable.
Participants are required to have a physical prior to practice. Practice will begin in August. Equipment will be the responsibility of each individual participant.
