Rhonda Klapper, 59, of Childress, Texas, passed away on July 12, 2012, south of Eldorado. Family Celebration of Life services were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday at Baylor Lake in Childress. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Rhonda was born on May 21, 1953, in Memphis, Texas, to Herschel and Shirley (McBee) Chaney. She graduated from Marina High School in Huntington Beach, Calif. She married Gene Klapper in Childress, Texas, in 1995. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Rhonda loved arts and crafts, her kids and her grandkids.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Gene of the home; four sons, Eric Hmielewski and wife Rachael of Amarillo, Texas, Joel Hmielewski of Childress, Alex English of California, and Dylan Dodge and wife Kaci of Missouri; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Donna and husband Ben, and Tammi and husband Jason, all of California.
