Enid, OK. – Todd J. Lisle, BKD, LLP managing partner, announces the election of Jon Redelsperger to partner. Jon delivers unmatched client service, embraces change and shows dedication to the firm’s values and the accounting profession. Jon assumed the new role beginning June 1, 2012.
Jon is the son of local Altus residents, John and Karen Redelsperger. He graduated from Altus High School in 1989 and then went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University with a B.S. degree with a double major in agricultural economics and accounting in 1994.
Career paths at BKD are divided into levels, and each position is defined by its own set of duties, responsibilities and competencies requiring cumulative and advanced degrees of education, training and experience. Personnel also must demonstrate their leadership abilities as coaches and mentors, as well as active community members. New partners are elected by the firm’s partner base and ratified BKD’s Governing Board.
“Jon has the passion and ability to take on any challenge, whether it is serving our country, or figuring out how to solve a client’s complex tax issues,” Lisle said. “This is an important career milestone that brings with it additional opportunities and challenges.”
Jon serves clients in the BKD National Financial Services Group and is a member of the WealthPlan team. He currently provides tax planning, consulting and preparation services for individuals, auto dealerships, financial institutions, construction contractors and transportation companies.
