Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s 57th annual band camp, which was held July 8-13 on the Weatherford campus, attracted 552 students—the largest attendance in nearly 30 years. Camp director Keith Talley said the students auditioned for placement in one of five concert bands and participated in rehearsals as well as a variety of recreational activities. The camp ended with a final concert featuring all five bands.
