A special meeting of the Altus Board of Education will be held this week. The meeting will be held in the Board conference room at the Administrative Center, 219 N. Lee, on Wedneday, Aug. 1, at 12 noon.
Agenda items include contract formats for the 2012-13 school year, sanctioned organizations for the 2012-13 school year to inlcude exemptions for sanctioning.
Also on the agenda is board policy revsions and new board policies, the approval of extra duty contracts for the 2o12-13 school year, as well as revised job descriptions, retirements and/or resignations.
The Board will also consider the employment of new hires to include certified personnel and/or non-certified personnel on a temporary contract.
