Kathy was born May 26, 1946, in California, to Ernest “Pat” and Evelyn (Cook) Keeran. She attended school in San Diego, Calif. and Virginia. She worked in Washington D.C. for many years before returning to Oklahoma in 1984. Kathy lived in Fort Cobb and Anadarko before settling in Altus. There, Kathy worked at a manufacturing plant until ill health forced her to retire.
Kathy was preceded in death by her mother and father; her sister, Lana; and her grandparents, Mart and Kate Keeran and William Paul and Mary Todd Cook.
She is survived by cousins Susan Zwaan, Kay Curry, Beth Matthews, Cathy Meiers, Billy Don Keeran, John and David Himes, Karen Todd, Mary Shellhammer, Tommy Tomlinson, and Mike Keeran; and her church family of Altus.
A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
