Raegan Vaughan of Altus is shown receiving a Judy and Gwynn Womack Memorial Scholarship from Dr. Randy Sheets, member of the scholarship committee at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Vaughan is a first year student at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City.
The Judy and Gwynn Womack Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduate medical student enrolled in a practitioner level healthcare degree program. Dr. James “Thumper” Womack established the scholarship in 2012 in memory of his parents. The Jackson County Memorial Hospital Foundation administers the Womack scholarship.
