Two agriculture meetings are being held this week. The first is the “Women in Agriculture and Small Business” conference being held today, and the second is the annual “Winter Ag Conference” set for Thursday. Both meetings are being held at Southwest Technology Center.

Women’s health issues and insurance needs were being discussed today and a panel of women who own their own business was also on the agenda.

Tomorrow’s event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The conference will be divided into three sessions with the topics such as “Current Research Work in Jackson County,” “Ag Production Alternatives in SW Oklahoma,” and “Commodity Markets.”
