On Aug. 27, a donation was made to Southwestern Youth Services, Inc. for $4,500. This generous donation was made through the 5th Annual Diamondback 100 Bike Ride. The ride was held on Aug. 4 and had 149 riders in the event. The sponsors of the event are co-chairmen, John Coles III and Paul Sutherland.
