Altus High’s Deante Harris fights for yardage in the AHS freshmen game with Lawton High on Monday night. The Bulldogs won the game 40-12 and Harris scored two touchdowns.

The Altus High School freshmen remained unbeaten with an easy 40-12 victory over the Lawton High Wolverines here on Monday night.
The Bulldogs received two touchdowns from running back Taven Birdow who scored on runs of nine and 11 yards.
Quarterback Jayden Benway and receiver Gant Duncan hooked up on a pair touchdown passes one for 31 yards and the other for 12 yards.
Deante Harris scored twice once on a hook and lateral play that covered 62 yards. Harris also scored on a 10 yard run.
The Altus High junior varsity wasn’t as fortunate losing to LHS 54-6.
Tanner Cross passed to Tanner Stewart for 35 yards and a touchdown to account for Altus’ lone score.
