Betty June Biddy-McKnight, 72, of Granite, passed away in Granite on Sept. 30, 2012.

Funeral service will be at Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Lone Wolf, on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Randy Mitchell officiating. Burial will be at the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Peoples Cooperative Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. Betty June Biddy-McKnight was born to Melvin and Thelma (Campbell) Hand in Warren on Oct. 16, 1939.

Betty grew up in and graduated high school in Warren. She was a CNA at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus and Clerk at the Lone Wolf One Stop. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Blair, and attended Warren First Baptist. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, baking, deep sea fishing, garage sales and casinos.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a great-granddaughter, Cadie Biddy.

Survivors include her husband James McKnight of the home; a son, Mark Biddy and wife Cindy of Marshall, Texas; three daughters, Darlene and husband Tony Smith of Center, Texas, Brenda and husband B.J. Jones of Granite, and Carla and DeWayne Reeves of Granite; three brothers, Glen Hand and wife Roseanne of Wichita, Kan., Bill Hand of Blair, and Jerry Hand and wife Gladys of Blair; 13 grandchildren, Trinity, Bobbi, Jackie, T.J., Jeremy, Brian, Wesley, Jamme, Stephanie, Justin, Bobbie, all of Texas, and Ashley and Laura of Granite; 19 great-grandchildren, Hayden, Hunter, Preston, Allison, Braylee, Ethan, Kash, Kidd, Kase, Kesslee, Nevaeh, Rowdy, Junior, Layla, Atreyu, Devon, Dylan, Coleman and Destiny; a step son, James McKnight of California; a step daughter, Agatha Cootes of Texas; seven step grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
