Motorcycle, dog accident sends woman to hospital

A personal injury accident happened at about 4 p.m. Saturday on CR 166, 2/10 of a miles of CR 216 in Jackson County.

According to reports from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Gay L. Bailey, 35, of Headrick, was driving west a Yamaha 700 when a dog ran out of the ditch, and she hit it. After the impact, Bailey overturned a number of times and was thrown off.

She was taken by Jackson County EMS to Comanche County Memorial Hospital and was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk injuries.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Josh Tinsley $682 of the Jackson County Detachment of Troop M, and was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriffs Office, Jackson County EMS, and the Headrick First Responders.
