A special called meeting of the Altus Board of Education was held in the Board conference room at the administrative center on Monday.
After calling the meeting to order, members went into executive session to discuss a proposed Superintendent candidate.
When back in open session, they approved the employment of Roger Hill as the Deputy Superintendent for the remainder of the 2012-13 school year, and Superintendent for the 2013-14 school year. Hill, the current superintendent in Hobart, will start in January.
