Diana Sue Felter was born to Roy and Aubrey (Prestridge) Goan in Altus on Jan. 15, 1946, and departed this life in Altus on Dec.6, 2012.
Diana grew up in Humphries and attended both Humphries and Altus schools. She married Donald Bruce Felter on Oct. 10, 1977. She worked as a blackjack dealer in Harrah’s Casino in Laughlin, Nev., Styron Wholesale in Hobart, and owned the Red Horse Inn in Hobart with her husband. She was a member of the Southwest Cowboy Church in Altus. She enjoyed taking walks with her grandchildren, “exploring” around the lake, horseback riding, dancing and arrowhead hunting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a grandson, Dillen Hall.
Survivors include three sons, Dwane Ford and wife Shawna of Gotebo, Shawn Hall and wife Traleena of Elk City, and Bo Felter of Elk City; two daughters, Monica and husband Victor Williams of Hobart, and Robbin and husband Billy Jennings of Weatherford; two sisters, Judy Phelps of Altus, and Brenda Ford of Richmond, Va.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
