Lisa Carson was the big winner in this weekend’s big Candy Cane Cash “Sweet”stakes drawing in downtown Altus. Carson received her winning ticket from The Enchanted Door. Participating Altus merchants have been giving drawing tickets away during the holiday shopping season for this event. The downtown Altus event started Saturday morning with door prizes donated by local merchants, followed by a $1,000 drawing. That prize was won by Larry Seville. There was a $200 winner and a $300 winner before the big prize was given away at 11 a.m. Hold onto you tickets for another drawing on Monday for $1,000.
