Lady Bulldogs fall to top ranked Anadarko

Altus High Head Girls Basketball Coach David Prickett knew his team had a tough assignment when his team entertained Anadarko here on Tuesday night.

The Lady Warriors, ranked No.1 in Class 4A, got off to a fast start and defeated the Lady Bulldogs 68-24.

Anadarko scored the first seven points of the game.

Tisay Woodhouse gave Altus its first score when she hit a shot with 5:10 remaining in the first period to make it 7-2.

The Lady Warriors kept adding to their lead the rest of the way and that margin was its biggest with the final score.

Lakota Bailey, who is bound for Oklahoma State University led Anadarko in scoring. She made five three point shots and scored 19 points while sitting out most of the fourth quarter. Her sister, Ashley Beatty had 14 points.

Woodhouse led the Lady Bulldogs with eight points.

Altus, 2-6 on the season, traveled to Clinton tonight for a 6:30 p.m.
