The Wichita Mountains Prevention Network is offering free Responsible Beverage Service and Sales (RBSS) Training next week for business owners and employees who sell and serve alcohol. The class will be Monday, March 4 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Jackson County Health Department.

The purpose of the RBSS training is to provide establishments with the knowledge and skills to sell and serve alcoholic beverages safely, responsibly, and legally. Class participants will learn how to read ID’s, recognize fakes, and cover administrative, criminal and civil liabilities, and over service and the physiology of alcohol in the body. This training was developed as a partnership by the Oklahoma Alcohol Beverage Law Enforcement (ABLE) Commission, Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Oklahoma Prevention Policy Alliance, and the Oklahoma Prevention Network.

If you would like more information pertaining to the free Responsible Beverage Service and Sales Training, please contact Kim Booker at the Wichita Mountains Prevention Network – Region 11 Prevention Coordinator at (580) 355-5246.
