Commissioners approve supplemental appropriations

Jackson County Commissioners voted to approve supplemental appropriations for the month of February during their regular meeting held Monday, March 1, in the Commissioners’ Office of the Jackson County Courthouse. Appropriations were approved for the Highway Fund for $23,433, Sheriff Service Fee’s for $3,087.50, County Assessor fees for $423, and Drug Court for $4,110, as well as transfer $45,000 for appropriations, from T-2 to T-3 for the purchase of equipment.

Commissioners also approved minutes from the last meeting and reports from the Election Office of $1,493, the District Attorney’s Office of $44,454, the Treasurer’s Office of $5,098, the County Clerk’s Office of $$14,226, and a $5.50 reimbursement for overpayment from the Election Office to the General Fund. There were no officer’s reports or blanket purchase orders.

They also approved the resolution to dispose of a gray desk from the County Clerk’s office. A Resolution to dispose of equipment for the Jackson County Health Department was tabled until the next meeting.

There was no new business.

Commissioners approved claims and the meeting adjourned.
