For the second time in her career, sophomore first baseman Emery Fox has been named the Division I National Player of the Week for her performances last week.

Fox, a sophomore from Oktaha, hit seven home runs in six games last week leading the Pioneers to a 5-1 record during that span. Fox was also named National Player of the Week once last year.

The sophomore put together a .714 batting average (10-for-14) with 17 RBIs and 13 runs scored while recording multiple home runs in three games.

Fox totaled seven homers in the six contests. Fox also showcased her speed on the base paths with five stolen bases on the week. Fox leads the Pioneers with a .421 batting average, 32 hits, 10 home runs and 30 RBIs.
