Bernie J. Haumesser, 26, was arrested on a county warrant Wednesday for 1st degree rape, and indecent proposal to child under 16 for sexual relations.

Complete details on the matter will not be made available until after Haumesser is arraigned either later today or tomorrow.

According to Altus Police Chief Mike Patterson, the warrant was issued some time back on Haumesser and could involve as many as 12 charges against him.

“It’s up to the District Attorney as to what all he will be charged with,” Patterson said.
