Motorcycle accident sends Mangum woman to hospital

Victoria K. Haumesser, 36, of Mangum, was taken by private vehicle to Jackson County Memorial Hospital late Tuesday after a motorcycle accident.

According to reports, Haumesser was a passenger on a 1985 Honda V5C motorcycle being driven by Alfred C. Ragsdill, 46, of Mangum. Ragsdill was not injured, and Haumesser was admitted in good condition with arm and leg injuries. Helmets were not in use.

The accident happened at approximately 10:45 p.m. on County Road 158 about 3/10’s of a mile west of County Road 202 in Jackson County.

According to the report, Ragsdill was west bound on Country Road 158 and lost control, departing from the roadway to the right side, coming to rest on the left side.
