Linder, Mills honored for service to local Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity Director Jean Billman, center, honored SMSgt Sam Lindner, left, and TSgt Scott Mills, right, for their devoted service to Altus Area Habitat for Humanity at the monthly luncheon yesterday. During his seven years with Habitat, Lindner served as construction chairman for the house on Jackson and for the past two years has been chairman of the Board of Directors. He will be retiring from the Air Force Aug.1. TSgt Mills has been involved since

2005. He lead construction of the newest property on Cherry Street and has been an active board member. He is being reassigned to Charleston AFB, South Carolina in July.
