Today is the deadline for early reservations for the Annual Altus High School Alumni Reunion Banquet coming up Saturday, June 27. The meal is $15 per person with early registration, and $20 afterwards.

Annual reunion activities will take place throughout next weekend, with many special activities for those of AHS graduating years ending in four and nine.

Altus High School Class of '59 will celebrate their 50th Class Reunion beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, June 26 at Fowler House Bed & Breakfast, 318 E. Commerce. At noon, Saturday, June 27 a lunch will be held at the Pantry, 123 E. Commerce, Dutch treat; 2 to 4 p.m., come and go at Brenda's house, 2917 Learly Lane.

A dance will be held from 8 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 at the Altus High School Cafeteria immediately after the AHS Alumni Reunion Banquet.

All AHS alumni are invited, and anyone else who likes dancing and or listening to music of the 1950’s and ‘60s or just likes to visit and have fun is welcome to attend. The entry fee including soft drinks is $5 per person, but anyone who helps put the banquet tables in the hall, put the chairs around the walls, or clean up after the banquet will get in for free.
