Weekend burglaries reported

Altus Police are investigating two home burglaries from the weekend.

Police were called at 3 a.m. Saturday when a burglar gained entry into an occupied house in the 1100 block of N. Lee through a window.

The burglar was scared off, maybe thinking the home was unoccupied. Nothing was reported as stolen.

Sometime either on Saturday or Sunday, a burglary of an unoccupied home in the 1900 block of Hudson happened. The burglar also gained entry into this home through a window.

Taken were a computer, camera, camcorder and a shotgun.

Investigators think the two burglaries are related.
