Altus Police Department learned that Sedrick Sanders, 31, of Altus, was arrested by law enforcement officials in Dallas on July 1. An arrest warrant had been issued for his arrest by the Jackson County District Attorney for conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, and first degree murder in connection with the robbery and murder of Altus resident Hai Phan on May 31.
Sanders was located at his father’s residence in the Dallas area.
Sanders has been said to have been the one that actually pulled the trigger from the group of suspects that lured and then robbed Phan and two others.
Previously arrested in connection with this robbery and homicide were Marrquis Dorsey, 24; Patrick Deshawn Robinson, 27; Michelle Calvert, 34; and Dominique Lindsey, 22, all of Altus.
Each was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, and first degree murder.
Turner said Sanders remains jailed in Dallas but that law enforcement officials will bring him back to Jackson County if he waives extradition or if a judge orders him to be extradited.
At this time in the investigation all known participants in the robbery and homicide of Hai Phan have been apprehended.
