Cotton crop looks good, but needs more rain

The monthly Habitat for Humanity fund raising luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 21 at the Altus Community Center.

Hosting the event this month is Martha Road Baptist Church.

The $5 meal will be a taco pile-up with meat, cheese, beans and all the extras. It will also include chips and salsa and sheet cake. Take outs will also be available, and deliveries can be arranged by calling 481-0159.

All proceeds from the luncheon go to the Habitat for Humanity Altus Area group.
