Reports of 80 mph winds hit Altus as a storm moved through the area around 3 a.m. this morning. Power was reported to be out in several areas of town, but most was restored by daybreak, with the exception of areas on N. Lee and Willard Streets. Workers are shown above repairing electrical lines on S. Park Lane this morning. One electrical pole was downed and caught a tree on fire on Polk Street. At right, a tree limb is down on N. Willard.
