Oklahoma 3rd District Congressman Frank Lucas is about halfway through his Town Hall Meeting schedule, visting with constituents in Altus on Thursday.

About 250 people gathered at Western Oklahoma State College yesterday to hear Lucas who talked to the crowd about various issues from health care to energy and the TEA Party movement.

Lucas heard concerns from the crowd about the government taking over health care, to which he addressed the issues of cost, availability and preventative care. Lucas said the plan in the House does not address these issues, which is not what he wants.

Rep. Lucas is continuing his area meetings today in Hollis, Mangum and Cordell.
