The Civil Engineers won Thursday night’s Tug of War contest held at the rodeo arena. Thursday night was MIlitary Appreciation Night at the 31st annual Great Plains Stampede Rodeo. Another Tug of War is set for tonight at 7:16 p.m. at the arena, but this time will feature elementary school kids.

Bareback riding and team roping were just two of the events seen at the rodeo Thursday night. The rodeo continues tonight and Saturday with 8 p.m. performances, and a rodeo parade is set for Saturday at 1 p.m.
