Brandon Marshall, 25, of Lawton, has been arrested in Frederick after officers, acting on a tip, found heavy spanking injuries on a three year-old Frederick girl.

Frederick Police Chief Rick Guill reported that the girl had multiple abrasions and bruises on her buttocks and bruising on her face.

The girl was treated and released to her mother and a protective order has been issued against Marshall.

The suspect, who has been charged with felony child abuse and obstructing an officer for lying to police during the investigation, remains in custody at the Tillman County Jail and is expected to make an initial appearance in district court today.
