Frederick teen arrested for making bomb threat to school

A 14 year old Frederick girl was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of calling in a bomb threat to the middle school earlier in the day.

The school was quickly evacuated until a bomb detection team from Altus Air Force Base could determine if the threat was a hoax.

Charges are expected to filed against the teen who was sent to a juvenile detention facility after the arrest.

This was the second bomb threat at Frederick Schools in recent weeks.
