School Board to seek bids for demolition at high school

Altus School Superintendent Bob Drury will present an item under reports and comments at Monday’s regular school board meeting to seek bids for demolition at the high school. The demolition is part of the remodeling process under way through the MAPS project.

Consent agenda items include teacher and support personnel evaluators, uniform allowance for district cooks, contracts for vocational programs, rental of school facilities, and a new activity fund account and fund raiser.

Other agenda items include retirements and resignations; extra duty assignments, substitutes, time sheet employees and volunteers; and reassignments with a change of salary.

The proposed executive session will be to discuss proposed new hires to include certified personnel and/or non-certified personnel on a temporary contract.

There will be a general discussion and comments on financial matters of the Altus School District.

The Board will close the public hearing to receive general discussion and comments on financial matters of the Altus School District.

The last item involves amending or repealing any current policy or to approve any new policy or to form the parameters for proposed policies.
