Local Veteran’s Day activities

The Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 4876 invite all military and the public to join them in recognition of the sacrifices and devotion of American veterans on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

The ceremony will begin at the Altus War Memorial, followed by a luncheon at VFW Post 4876, 500 North Veteran's Drive.

Guest speaker will be Col. Thomas, 97th Air Mobility Commander from Altus Air Force Base.

Roach-Lemer Post 44 of the American Legion and Auxiliary, will have a Veterans Day breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Towers meeting room. All veterans and spouses, widows of veterans and active duty, National Guard, and Reservist and their families are encourage to attend. There is no cost for the breakfast. There will be a guest speaker.

The Blair American Legion Post 275 will also have a Veterans Day Breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Warren Senior Citizens Center. All Veterans are welcome.
