Two Mangum teens have been arrested for burglarizing a home while the occupants were inside asleep.

According to reports, the duo gained entry through an unlocked door in the early morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 1.

Items taken included hunting bows, firearms and electronics.

The youths are thought to have been connected to previous vehicle burglaries.

If someone is convicted of breaking into an unoccupied home they could receive a 2 to 7 year sentence for second degree burglary, but breaking into an occupied home raises the punishment to up to 20 years in prison on a first degree burglary charge.
