Michelle Calvert was bound over for trial at her hearing Monday in the Jackson County Courthouse. Calvert is one of four people being held on charges of felony murder of Hai Phan on May 31. A total of five people are being held for conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. On Nov. 10, Sedrick Sanders and Patrick Robinson were bound over for trial in these crimes. Calvert was also present at the Nov. 10 hearing. Her attorney chose to wait to complete the hearing process until after the Medical Examiner's report on Phan had been in their possession for the required five days.

On Nov. 23, Judge Brad Leverett ruled that there was indeed enough evidence to try Calvert on the above charges. Judge Clark Huey will preside over the trial of Calvert, Sanders and Robinson beginning on Dec. 2 at 9:30 a.m.

Two other people are accused in this case. Marquis Dorsey faces felony murder and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. He waived his right to a preliminary hearing. Dominique Lindsey is not being held for felony murder, but is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon. She also waived her hearing. Both Dorsey and Lindsey will be formally arraigned by Judge Richard Darby on Dec. 1 at 9 a.m. in the Jackson County Courthouse.
