The holidays are here and for most of us that means battling crowds, rushing from store to store and waiting in long lines….all in search of the perfect gift. But, the perfect gift is as close as your American Red Cross blood drive. It’s a life-saving blood donation. This year, forget your search for the perfect gift and concentrate on doing something good for someone else by giving blood.

 Locally, you can give the perfect gift Tuesday, Dec. 8 at the Altus Community Center from 12p.m. to 6 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 1-800-GIVE-LIFE or visiting bloodisneeded.org.
