Marijuana recovered in Greer County

A joint investigation between the US Postal Inspector, Greer County Sheriff’s Department, Mangum Police and the District III Drug Task Force has resulted in the arrest of one suspect and the recovery of several pounds of marijuana.

During the recently days, law enforcement has been investigating illegal drug activity in the Mangum area. On Wednesday, Jose Sanchez Jr., 43, of Blair, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

Sanchez is being held in the Greer County Jail while awaiting his initial appearance in front of the judge Dan Deaver.
