The Willis/Ditmore families in Mangum recently experienced a devistating family tragedy, and a benefit will be held Sunday, Dec. 13, as a way for the community to reach and show their support.

The friends of Fred, Shalia, Nathan, Angelica and Freda, B.J., Brandon and Bryce, are putting together a chili, stew and bean dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the Edison Elementary Cafeteria, at 201 W. Madison in Mangum. Drop by after church for a hot nourishing meal for the whole family. There will also be both Silent and Live Auctions to follow the meal.

Donated items for the auctions are needed. Items may be brought to the Greer County Sheriff's Office or can be brought the morning of the benefit.

Bank accounts are set up at the following banks for the Fred Willis and Freda Ditmore families. The banks are Stockmans Bank, Great Plains National Bank and First National Bank and Trust Company all of Mangum.

For information, call Shawn Laughlin at 580-706-0207 or Peggy Payne at 580-706-0397.
