After Tuesday’s dose of snow in Altus and other parts of the state, forecasters are now predicting drizzle — perhaps of the freezing variety — to fall in Oklahoma during the middle of the week.

The National Weather Service had originally said we could see more of the white fluffy stuff today, but the forecast has been changed to cloudy with a slight chance of light drizzle or patchy light freezing drizzle today. Although scattered snow flurries ar still are possible, highs will range from 35 to 53.

Overnight lows will range from 20 to 39, with mostly cloudy skies.

Skies will remain cloudy Thursday, with a slight chance of light freezing drizzle or light rain. Highs will range from 32 to 50.

New Year's Day will be mostly clear with highs from 31 to 51. Highs will range from 32 to 51 on Saturday with partly cloudy skies.

Altus’ high Tuesday was 36, with a low of 24. Precipitation was .07.
