Kathy Nolan, the driver of the 2009 Chevy at left, was taken to Jackson County Memorial Hospital last night after an accident on North Main. According to reports, Nolan was north bound on North Main Street when Leon Walls, the driverof the 1989 Mercury, pulled out from the parking lot across from Red River Federal Credit Union, into her path. Walls was said to have been waived onto North Main by other drivers. When he turned left onto Main, he didn’t see Nolan approaching; Nolan’s vehicle hit Walls’. Nolan was taken by Jackson County EMS to Jackson County Memorial Hospital with possible head, trunk and arm injuries. Walls was not injured. Cause of the accident was reported as failure to yield, but no citations were issued.
