A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Monday for the recently completed Martha Bridge. The old bridge had been closed a few years ago after one of the 90 year-old spans was broken by a truck that exceeded the load rating. The new bridge has a life expectancy of 75 to 100 years. Several representatives from county, city, state and federal governments attended the dedication.
