Main Street Altus will hold their annual Meeting and Launch Party for Oklahoma Today Magazine on January 21, 2010. Oklahoma Today and Oklahoma Main Street Center staff will be at the Annual Meeting to launch the January/February 2010 issue of Oklahoma Today magazine. The meeting will be held at the Southern Prairie Library System at 421 North Hudson from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Altus is one of four featured Oklahoma Main Street communities in the latest issue of Oklahoma Today. The current issue is headlined as “The Complete Guide to Oklahoma’s 42 Main Street Communities” and is dedicated Oklahoma Main Street communities and businesses throughout the state of Oklahoma as the Oklahoma Main Street Program prepares to host the National Main Street Conference in Oklahoma City May 2-5. Main Street Altus invites all volunteers that help during events, their event sponsors for Walkin’ on Chalk, Rock-N-Rumble Car Show & Cruise, Cotton Pickin’ Chili Cook-Off, & Candy Cane Cash “Sweet”stakes; and supportive financial members to attend the Annual Meeting as they celebrate their feature article in the Oklahoma Today Magazine.
