It was a long night for the Altus High Lady Bulldogs.

Tuesday night they had the unenviable task of playing the Cache Lady Bulldogs, who came into the game unbeaten and ranked number one in Class 4A.

It didn’t take long for Cache to assert itself. They led 21-4 at the end of the first period and 39-11 at halftime.

Altus (5-10) did not have one player in double figures. They were led in scoring by Jazznae Harris and Ebony Nelms who scored seven points.

Honor Duvall tallied 21 points to pace Cache.

It doesn’t get much easier for Altus. They travel to Anadarko on Friday for a 6:30 p.m. meeting with the Lady Warriors. Anadarko is ranked fourth in Class 4A and has a record of 12-3.
