State Emergency Operations Center remains activated

Due to the winter storm, that has left Altus, Southwest Oklahoma and many parts of the state without power, the State Emergency Operations Center (EOC) remains activated. The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management (OEM) is also staying in contact with emergency managers across the state. Agencies and organizations represented at the State EOC include the: America Red Cross, Salvation Army, Oklahoma Military Department, Oklahoma State Department of Health, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 2-1-1 Oklahoma, Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Food and Forestry.

POWER OUTAGES

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission reports 150,937 homes and businesses are without electric service due to the storm, which includes the following.

PSO reports 59,415 customers are without power including:

Carnegie - 1,105

Chickasha - 12,261

Clinton - 218

Duncan - 4,594

Elk City - 101

Hobart - 6,047

Lawton - 31,621

Okmulgee - 678

Tipton - 3,775

The Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority reports 26,286 customer without power in:

Altus - 9,300

Lexington - 693

Purcell - 2,219

Duncan - 8,942

Eldorado - 283

Olustee - 316

Marlow - 2,325

Granite - 613

Comanche - 957

Manitou - 209

Ryan - 429

The Oklahoma Association of Electric Cooperatives reports 55,561 customers without power in:

Caddo Electric, Binger: 6,774

Canadian Valley Electric, Seminole: 9,500

Cotton Electric, Walters: 14,286

East Central OK Electric, Okmulgee: 1,850

Harmon Electric Association, Hollis: 3,303

Kiwash Electric, Cordell: 2,000

Northfork Electric, Sayre: 500

Oklahoma Electric, Norman: 2,560

Ozarks Electric, Stilwell, Fayetteville: 105

People's Electric, Ada: 5,683

Rural Electric, Lindsay: 6,000

SW Rural Electric, Tipton: 3,000

Verdigris Valley Electric, Collinsville: 0

OG&E reports 9,675 customers (including 1,566 in Ada, 1,202 in Pauls

Valley and 1,030 in Seminole) are without service.
