DUNCAN – It was not a good night for the Altus High School basketball teams.

Duncan swept both games of a doubleheader. The Demons won the boys’ game 74-58 and the girls’ game 37-23 .

In the boys’ game, Altus (7-10) trailed only 40-39 midway into the third period. But the Demons pulled away after that.

Derrick Bull scored 25 points and was the only Altus player in double figures.

In the girls’ game, the Lady Bulldogs (6-11) struggled offensively.

Ebony Nelms scored 13 of the 23 points for Altus.

The Altus teams will host Lawton MacArthur on Thursday. The girls’ game is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the boys’ game for 7:30 p.m.
