On Tuesday, Feb. 16, Southwest Technology Center, and the Jackson County OSU Extension Office are teaming up with the Oklahoma Cattleman’s Association to present an agriculture program covering both wheat cattle production topics.

The meeting will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. It will start with a short field tour of one of Jackson County’s Wheat Variety Demonstration Trials (meet at SWTC at 4:30 p.m. to attend field tour) and conclude with an indoor program back at SWTC starting at 6 p.m.

Speakers will include Scott DeWald, Executive Director with the OCA and OSU Extension Personnel. Also, a ribeye steak dinner, sponsored by several local agriculture businesses, will be served that evening. This should be an informative and educational meeting and agriculture producers are encouraged to attend.

Pre-registration, while not required, is requested by noon on Monday Feb. 15 at the OSU Extension Office, 580-482-0823.
