The Board of Trustees, JCMH Authority, met for a special meeting Thursday with Howard Salmon and Brian Smith from Premier Consulting Solutions presenting a proposed Strategic Plan to the board.

This plan was the result of six months of work by the Strategic Planning Steering Committee that included a review of internal financial trends and benchmarking, a review of all service lines, quality indicators and multiple interviews with physicians and community members. Additionally, a review of all external service area health care services was conducted.

The Strategic Plan includes a new vision statement and strategies as well as strategic tactics, an action plan for the 1-2 year horizon was recommended and the steps to be taken next to begin the process.

After discussion the board approved the Strategic Plan as presented.
